Dr. David A. Stein
Dr. David A. Stein graduated cum laude from the State University of New York School of Dentistry at Buffalo in 1979. While there he was a winner of the William Tucker Scholarship for Clinical and Academic Excellence for three consecutive years.
Upon graduation, he was elected to Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the dental honor society. He continued his training for an additional year as a general practice resident in dentistry at Hartford Hospital in Connecticut.
Dr. Stein is a founding member of the World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry. His other professional affiliations include the Capital District Continuum for Advanced Dental Education, the Seattle Study Club, the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Fourth District Dental Society, and the Schenectady Dental Society.
He has lectured to local dental societies on microdentistry and esthetics. He has demonstrated microdentistry and laser caries detection live on television. He has been interviewed on National Public Radio in regards to microabrasion and esthetic dentistry.
Dr. Stein has completed over 2,000 hours of continuing dental education since his residency. He subscribes to numerous dental journals and dental internet sites. He has been in private practice in Schenectady since 1980.

Dr. Padula grew up in Hopkinton Massachusetts and moved to the Capital District at the beginning of High School. He graduated from near by Niskayuna High School and pursued his goal of becoming a dentist. He graduated Cum Laude from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. During that time he earned the William Tucker Award and Clinical Achievement Award for outstanding academic and clinical achievement.
He was accepted into a two year Implant Fellowship where he functioned as a chief resident and received advanced training in all aspects of dental implants including surgical placement and restoration. He combines his extensive surgical training with his knowledge of esthetics and general dentistry to offer patients a wide variety of quality treatment options.
Dr. Padula is a member of the American Dental Association, New York State Dental Society, Third District Dental Society, Seattle Study Club and the Capital District Continuum for Advanced Dental Education. It is through this dedication to continuing education that Dr. Padula met Dr. Stein. They share a common goal in minimally invasive and comfortable dentistry. Dr. Padula is honored to treat the patients that Dr. Stein has taken great care of for years.
